WHAT IS THE MONTCO CHAPTER OF THE PENNSYLVANIA SPORTS HALL OF FAME

A charter member of the PA Sports Hall of Fame (PASHoF) founded in 1963 - seewww.pashof.org for more info. The Montco Chapter was Chartered in 2009.

We are a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization founded to perpetuate the memory of athletes, male or female, who have brought lasting fame to Montgomery County and/or the State of Pennsylvania through their athletic achievements. These individuals need to have been raised, worked or performed in Montgomery County in order to be considered for induction into the Montco Chapter Hall of Fame. 

Also eligible for such distinction are those individuals who have brought similar recognition to the County or State through their contributions to sports in general in managerial, promotional, or other influential capacities.
